Founded in 1848, the firm has been in continuous operation
for over 152 years. The trademark Star was registered with the United States
Government in 1884. Other Registered trademarks the company manufactures
under are Martha Washington and American Maid. Star Bedding Co. was incorporated
in the state of Missouri in 1930. A third Generation family member employed
by the firm heads the company.
Even though its primary focus in the past was the manufacturing of bed pillows,
it now also supplies a complete line of pillow forms, down comforts, bulk
feathers, polyester rolls, bonded cut quilt batting, and polyester stuffing
to its valued customers. |
Star - What we do and who we supply
Founded in 1848, Star Bedding Co. is a pillow
manufacturer but we make other items too. We make a full line of Down, Feather
Down, Polyester and Shredded Bed pillows to supply Fine linen stores, dept
stores, discount dept stores, furniture stores, Bed & Bath Stores, Catalogs,
Mattress Stores and Institutional/Distributors. Our product lines are Martha
Washington, American Maid, and of course Star. We also manufacture pillows under
store brand names.
We also have a line of craft supplies such as bonded quilt
batting, stuffing and a full line of pillow forms, down and feather and
polyester in assorted sizes and custom sizes to supply Fabric stores, Retail
Stores, Crafters, Upholsters, Interior decorators and designers. Starlite,
Multi-Purpose, and Dacron 808 hollofil standard and extra weight quilt batts
in pre-cut sizes and full rolls. The stuffing is available in our styles
Patches, Softlite and Star Garnetted packaged in 12 oz, 16 oz., 20 oz.,
24 oz. bags or bulk packed. The pillow forms are available in several different
feather & down and polyester styles. We also
have bulk feathers available. |
